Rural Horizons. Young leaders crafting tomorrow’s tourism is an Erasmus+ project focused on the active involvement of young people in shaping the future of rural tourism and local development.
Through training, discovery activities and collaborative laboratories, the project encouraged young participants to contribute ideas, proposals and strategic outputs for more sustainable, inclusive and youth-oriented rural territories.

Rural Horizons. Young leaders crafting tomorrow’s tourism è un progetto Erasmus+ dedicato al coinvolgimento attivo dei giovani nella costruzione del futuro del turismo rurale e dello sviluppo locale.
Attraverso attività formative, percorsi di scoperta e laboratori collaborativi, il progetto ha favorito la partecipazione dei giovani nella definizione di idee, proposte e strumenti utili per territori rurali più sostenibili, inclusivi e orientati al futuro.
Attività svolte / Project Activities
Il progetto Rural Horizons si è sviluppato attraverso tre principali attività, pensate per rafforzare le competenze dei giovani, favorire la scoperta dei territori rurali e trasformare le idee emerse in strumenti concreti per lo sviluppo locale.
The Rural Horizons project was developed through three main activities designed to strengthen young people’s skills, encourage the discovery of rural territories and transform their ideas into practical tools for local development.
Competence Lab
IT – Attività formative dedicate allo sviluppo di competenze legate al turismo rurale, alla partecipazione giovanile e allo sviluppo locale.
EN – Training activities aimed at developing skills related to rural tourism, youth participation and local development.
Discovery Journeys
IT – Percorsi di scoperta e confronto con territori, comunità locali ed esperienze legate al turismo sostenibile.
EN – Discovery and exchange journeys connecting young participants with rural territories, local communities and sustainable tourism experiences.
Blueprint for Change Lab
IT – Laboratorio collaborativo finalizzato alla trasformazione delle idee dei giovani in proposte, strumenti e documenti utili per lo sviluppo futuro dei territori rurali.
EN – A collaborative laboratory focused on transforming young people’s ideas into proposals, tools and documents useful for the future development of rural territories.
